Tastrion is a 90 's inspired SHMUP game, set on an alien planet filled with genetically mutated lifeforms fused with machinery. Inspired by games such as Gradius, Arrow Flash and Gaiares, this project is set out to capture the feel of old-school retro shmups.
The demo consists of two out of six stages. The complete game will also have a secret stage for those who can manage to 1CC on their run. The full game will be available on Steam!

Looks awesome! Is there a mac build?
Hey! Thanks. Sadly there's no Mac support currently available, that might be possible sometime next year but at the moment there are no plans for it :)
Great artwork and sfx. I love the mood. Keep it up :)
Thank you very much <3
looks totally Awesome!!, cant wait for full release & will be purchasing, keep up the amazing work :)
Thank you very much! :)
Having been updated by the creator at several stages of the game's development progress via YT content, finally getting to try it out myself was definitely exciting! What looked fairly doable in terms of gameplay when the dev performed it, turned out to be a hell of a challenge for someone who isn't acquainted with the genre. I am not an experienced SHMUP gamer, let that be said, but the fondly designed retro style did throw me into the nostalgic world of Super Space Invaders (just way more advanced than that) and the like. The cherry on top is the music which creates a cool atmosphere! It's worth playing it for that alone, just to get to hear all of the soundtracks. And it's pretty satisfying to move a bit further with every try, once you get the grip on the attack patterns of the mobs. The DEMO runs as smooth as a knife through butter.
Thanks for the write-up, super helpful!
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you <3
